Boasting the largest living space available for a one-bedroom apartment, Waves 26 is a firm favourite offering plenty of room to relax and unwind. The apartment enjoys a peaceful location overlooking the gardens and the large patio doors and extra window give it a very bright, light and airy feel. The stylish and comtempory decor with light oak furniture throughout make it a chic and tranquil holiday base. The underfloor heating means that you`ll always be cosy, whaever the weather.
Everything about the Waves apartments is designed in order to make the most of the location on the north coast of Cornwall. The beach is famous for its sheer size and grandeur with almost three miles of perfect sand at low tide. This is one of Cornwalls most contemporary destinations, with exceptional facilities including the Extreme Academy which offers a great range of adrenaline sports, the Jamie Oliver inspired restaurant, Fifteen Cornwall and the legendary Beach Hut. Throughout the year, a wide range of events are held in the bay, from surf competitions to beach polo as well as family fun days.
The open plan living room offers every comfort with two three-seater leather sofas (one also a double sofa bed) plus a leather armchair and bean bag. Relax and enjoy the flat screen LCD `TV (with Freeview), CD/DVD, ipod dock, free internet connection and range of DVDs, CDs and games. There is also a telephone provided for incoming calls.
The kitchen area is well-equipped and spacious with a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven, hob, extractor, microwave and washer/dryer. Also provided are an iron, ironing board and clothes drier. The breakfast bar and stools offer an informal place to eat and drink or you can enjoy your meal at the large dining table which seats four very comfortably. We`ve even provided a Jamie Oliver cookbook so that you can join in the culinary pedigee of Watergate Bay.
The good-sized double bedroom with views over the gardens provides a zip-and-link super king double bed which can be used as a double or twin. The room is equipped with a chest of drawers, large wardrobe (where you will find a travel cot and high chair), dressing table and stool, mirrors, hair dryer and two shelves of books for your enjoyment. The family bathroom with basin, WC, bath with integral shower, and heated towel rail complete this comfortable and cosy holiday retreat.
Outside the apartment, there is a surf shower to rinse off in after a day at the beach and a useful secure storage cage in the basement for your surf boards, wetsuits and beach toys.
