SELF-CATERING HOLIDAY COTTAGES IN PORTLOE

DESCRIBED AS “ONE OF THE LEAST SPOILED AND MOST IMPRESSIVE OF CORNISH VILLAGES…”

Portloe is a stunning fishing village, located on the Roseland Peninsula, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Once a hot spot for smugglers in the 18th century because of its remoteness, the village is steeped in history, has a small sandy beach and beautiful coastal walks to nearby Carne beach and Portholland.

Dine at The Lugger restaurant, where its original inn keeper was sent to the gallows for smuggling French Brandy. Wander through the winding streets lined with old fishermens cottages and picturesque gardens. Perch on the clifftop and watch the local fishermen bring in their daily catch.
