St Ives is filled to the brim with fantastic eateries. Enjoy casual dining with a sea view at Porthminster and Porthmeor Cafes, for delicious seafood try The Loft, The Mermaid, The Rum & Crab Shack and Cellar Bistro.
CAN I BRING MY DOG?
Bamaluz beach, Pier beach and Lambeth walk are all dog friendly throughout the year, however there are restrictions in place between 10am and 6pm from 15 May until 30 September on other beaches. Many restaurants nearby are pet friendly and the South West Coast Path is the perfect place for walking your dogs.
ACCESSIBILITY
All the beaches have adjacent level concrete paths in St Ives. Our top recommended are Porthmeor and Porthminster where beach wheelchairs and buggies can be hired. There are disabled spaces allocated in all Cornwall Council car parks. Toilets are located next to the car park. RNLI Lifeguards are on duty between 10am and 6pm throughout the summer months.
Newquay airport is around a 60 minute drive away. Trains run daily into St Ives.
