A few days after our guests depart we send them an email encouraging them complete our post stay survey. We share the individual results with you, our owners as they come in.

As summer is drawing to a close we have taken a look back at the feedback and our average scores for the months of June, July and August. We thought you might like to see some of the monthly averages across the whole portfolio too.

We have seen lots of wonderful comments and high scores, so the guests seemed to have enjoyed a lovely summer in Cornwall.

“A lovely property, right on the southwest coast path. It is approximately a 1km walk down hill to the beach at Perranporth (so uphill on the way back!). The living room and balcony have an amazing view. The recommended food delivery service was excellent, and food all unpacked on our arrival.”

“We absolutely loved the house. The decor of the property was beautiful with a lovely seaside theme – furnishings, pictures, candles and shelves of books.  The view from the balcony was amazing and we spent most nights star gazing whilst sipping champagne and cocktails! The only thing missing in the kitchen was an oven glove. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated with very comfortable beds and all the photos on the website do the property justice. The garden was enclosed and great for us and for the children to run around and play. We were also delighted to find so many things to play with in the shed/storage container, we even used the dingy one day and had lots of fun on the beach. We spent most days on Crantock Beach which is just a 10 minute walk away and the weather was stunning too. The utility with washer and dryer was an excellent facility and meant we came home with very little washing to do. Overall, a stunning property and we thank you for having us to stay!!”

“Amazing – we have been this property in Watergate Bay four times. It’s a fab location, especially for the beach! The house itself is lovely, comfortable and fully equipped with everything you need and more! The kids love the TV, Xbox, and surround sound system. I enjoy sitting on the patio with my wine in the evening looking at the sea view!”

And finally, our guests get the opportunity to tell us ‘the best thing about the property they stayed in’. The most popular answers are always location or view. But comfy beds and lounge furniture also heavily dominate  – our guests love a good night’s sleep!
