Where is it?
4 Trenarren House is a contemporary three bedroom apartment situated on a private road in Carlyon Bay with stunning clifftop views over the sea.
Carlyon Bay is made up of sandy shores and picture book views. Its south coast location makes it an excellent spot to catch a sunrise, and the gentle swell welcomes in wild swimmers all year round. In summer, feast on Cornish seafood at the pop up independent food stalls on the sand. Whilst down at the beach, try your hand at watersports or embark on a jet ski safari around the coastline, an invigorating way to explore secret coves and spot wildlife out in the ocean.
The nearby Charlestown can be reached on foot in 10 minutes via the South West Coast Path. A fishing port abundant in character, Charlestown is the last open Georgian working 18th century harbour. As seen in the BBC Poldark series, the village embodies the essence of Cornish fishing life. Let classic tall ships and pebbly beaches dotted with caves set you daydreaming as you wander the streets, freshly caught crab sandwich in hand (just watch out for seagulls!).
Easy access to the South West Coast Path means you can strike a leisurely course out and find your way to neighbouring bays, including Pentewen and Porthpean. Set foot from Charlestown past Duporth and all the way to Trenarren and Black Head for spectacular views. You can also walk from Carlyon Bay to Par, and beyond towards Fowey, taking in the Gribben Head daymark. For a day out, the world-famous Eden Project and the captivating Lost Gardens of Heligan are just a short drive away, where horticulture, imagination and the county’s unique spirit meet.
