    Where is it?

15 Cannery Row is located in a contemporary development in Hayle, sitting directly on the beautiful waterfront of Hayle estuary and just a short walk from the three-mile expanse of golden sandy beach, stretching from Hayle Towans across to Godrevy Point beach in west Cornwall.

Hayle sits at the mouth of an estuary, nestled between St Ives and Gwithian. The town is home to top notch ice cream and pasty shops for hungry stomachs, while the soft sands of the river's banks cry out for a paddle as it weaves its way towards the shoreline. St Ives Bay stretches from Hayle estuary to Godrevy lighthouse, miles of golden sand and expansive horizon. A little further along the beach's stretch you'll find Gwithian, flat open sand perfect for racing, kite flying and horse riding too: you'll often see ponies being taken for a canter in the shallows.

Before long, Gwithian morphs into Godrevy and the iconic lighthouse stands proud on the skyline, rearing up from its rocky outcrop bright white against the sky. Famed for inspiring Virgina Woolf's novel To the Lighthouse, it's a feature of the landscape loved by locals, surfers and visitors alike. From here, the rugged coastline sweeps away from the beach and over the National Trust owned headland to the inaccessible Mutton Cove, home to a Grey seal colony.

Back in Hayle, the Saltings nature reserve is a prime place for murmurations in the shoulder months and Carbis Bay and St Ives are a short hop away by train. The ultimate scenic route, it clings to the coastline promising photo-worthy vistas galore.

"We had a fantastic week. The property was very clean and modern. The views are amazing and it was in an ideal location. Hayle beach is just a 10 minute walk away with golden sands and Gilbert's beach bar is great for enjoying the sunset. You can walk to Hayle statin where you can get a train to Erth station and you can get a train to anywhere. My advice would be to drive to Erth station and park in the station park and ride car park for £3.5o for the whole day. The costal train to St Ives and Carbis bay is great with fantastic views and only takes 1o mins to St Ives. There is also an outdoor swimming pool opposite the property where you can book a time slot. We will definitely be heading back soon"

"Great property with great views. Easy access to local pubs, shop's restaurants but also easy access to train and travel to the whole of Cornwall/South Coast. Hayle has the most amazing beach which was 2 minute's walk away from the property."

J Sparks, September 2022
"Excellent accommodation, excellent location would highly recommend staying here. The view is beautiful and the value for money is ridiculous, stay now before the whole complex is built, I see these stays going up in price exponentially when the complex is complete."
R Saxon, September 2022
"Lovely property with stunning 180 degree views of estuary. It was clean and comfortable. Close to Hayle beach which our Frenchie Bulldog loved."
D Bains, September 2021

L Hawkes, August 2021
"15 Cannery Row exceeded every expectation! Booking was very straight forward and we received excellent detailed instructions at every step, both prior to arrival and during our stay. The interior decor and facilities were incredible and very in keeping with the fabulous views. The location could not have been better, a short walk to pubs, shops and restaurants and a short walk in the opposite direction to the beach. We cannot recommend this home highly enough. Everything was just perfect so thank you Beach Retreats, we will definitely be back."
