The Palm House is an incredible detached retreat overlooking Mawgan Porth, with stunning sea views, a hot tub, sauna and yoga studio. This retreat is just a short walk to the sand of Mawgan Porth beach.

Mawgan Porth is a beach that gets it just right- a stretch of white sand, a swirling ocean and a handful of tasty eateries. Little feet can splash about in the trickling river and leave tiny footprints on the sand, perhaps joined by pawprints (as the beach is dog friendly all year round).
The beachfront street is dotted with shops, cafes and an activity centre, King Surf. Try your hand at mastering the waves or let off steam at the seasonal crazy golf and pitch and putt course, based near a historic Iron Age site. If you fancy stretching your legs, take the steady amble up the South West coast path towards neighbouring Watergate Bay or Bedruthan Steps, where you can soak up spectacular panoramas. Padstow is a little further afield, 20 minutes away by car.

"This house is nothing short of exceptional. It feels luxurious and well thought through the moment you come through the door. There is a meeting of architecture and interior design that exceeded my/our expectations. It is comfortable for nine people, ample extra space for people to retire and chillout, and one of our teenagers and her friend made the yoga studio home for the week, which was fantastic. The hot tub and sauna are not to be overlooked and are of an incredibly high standard. Both being of timber construction and larger than the photos do justice, I would suggest both can seat around six people comfortably although we never needed to get to that capacity as the adults chose different times to the kids to use these facilities. It is a short walk to the beautiful beach of Mawgan Porth, and the southwest coast path going in either direction up or down the coast. We will be coming back.
