Guest Reviews

"Excellent location, we didn’t realise how close it was to the harbour! Excellent property with everything you need. Clean and tidy and welcoming. They have an information book with everything inside. Brilliant food nearby, really recommend the Orange Cafe and the Deli Kitchen not even a minute walk away. One thing I would say (it’s also mentioned in the book there) you need to air the place regularly as it gets humid as it’s by the sea but it’s absolutely fine, lovely big windows. Only thing I would point out is some of the hooks are rusting, which got on the towels, but this would be from the humidity by the sea so no one’s fault. Very comfy beds and we had great nights sleep. Thank you, we would come again.

"Little Duck is such a lovely cottage. It had absolutely everything we needed and more. It was immaculately clean and beautifully presented. The beds were very comfortable. When we arrived (which was late in the evening) it was so lovely coming in to such a cosy home with the lamps left on ready for us. We didn't expect to be in the cottage much as the weather was so lovely but we found ourselves back there a lot and ate most of our meals at the cottage. We had an absolutely brilliant holiday. Thank you"

"We enjoyed a wonderful break at Little Duck Cottage. It was all to our complete satisfaction. A beautiful oasis was created here, where you can get away from it all. We didn't miss anything as everything was thought out. Thank you for many sweet details, including the tips for the area. Mousehole is a super cute place in a great area. We were there for the first time and will certainly be back. We felt really comfortable! Thank you for everything. From Airbnb

"We had the most amazing stay at Little Duck, the cottage was beautiful and was so much more than expected. The beds were luxury and all the furnishings were homely. We were so amazed by the location and how close to the harbour it was. Do not be put off by the parking arrangements as it was very easy and so close, it didn't make any difference to our stay. We are hoping to return to Mousehole and Little Duck very soon and have recommended to friends. Thank you.

"Possibly the best equipped self-catering property I have ever stayed in. We were fortunate with the weather - but Mousehole is fantastic at any time. Recommend both 2 Fore Street and The Mousehole Deli for dinner - but little beats sitting in the sunshine, with an ice cream watching children jumping into the water. - From Airbnb"

"Little Duck is a well appointed cottage in the heart of beautiful Mousehole, close to the harbour. The characterful property is decorated to a high standard and was spotlessly clean. The dog and I had fun exploring the local delis, cafes and restaurants, with lots of quality food choices within a short stroll. The housekeeper was very helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay."

"We had a lovely stay at Little Duck, the cottage was beautiful, very clean and well equipped for all our needs. It was very comfortable both for relaxing in the evening and for sleeping. Being so close to Mousehole harbour was a huge bonus."

"Fabulous location - enjoyed taking a cup of coffee down to the harbour, a few seconds walk away to chill and even swim a few times! The cottage is really well done, lovely interior & had everything you need - loved the fact that there really was everything you needed (dishwasher tablets, cloths etc). Mousehole is a lovely place to explore - great restaurants & cafes and a few gift/art shops. Lots of good walks & sunshine! "

"Beautiful property as pictured on website. Very impressed with the standard of interior. Mousehole is a great little base for a week, the harbour is a joy to see, and every morning I sat on one of the benches with my coffee from Hole Deli. Mousehole has some good options for takeaway coffee and also take out evening meals. "

"Lovely, convenient situation and great modernisation, but keeping its history. Excellent interior design and a minutes walk into the sea or to an excellent takeaway or to the farmers market every Monday in Solomon Browne Hall. Note after 1st May in Mousehole is the limited seasonal parking."
