    Where is it?

    Less than 100 metres away from Porth beach; a wide sandy beach sheltered by two headlands, 3 The Strand is a contemporary four bedroom house over four floors.

    When children draw a seaside scene, they draw Porth. Streams, rockpools and caves beg to be explored, whilst a sweep of beach provides ample terrain for sandcastle building and sand-fairy making. Families, adventurers and explorers of all ages will lose hour after happy hour here.

    A narrow wooden footbridge leads to Porth Island, a headland full of history. Watch in awe at mid tide, particularly on windy days, as the blow hole shoots rainbow sprays of water. Embrace the theatre of Porth Island any time of day or all year round, just wrap up warm and bring a camera to capture dramatic sunrises and storms alike.

    Back down on the beach, melted strawberry ice cream drips down sides of candy cones and sizzling tapas is served at Porth's beachside eateries. Once you've soaked up the Porth scene, try heading towards Newquay's bays, up the coast path to Whipsiderry and Watergate, or towards the rolling cliffs of Mawgan Porth and Bedruthan Steps.

    • Fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, bar stools, fridge freezer, oven, induction hob, wine fridge, kettle, toaster and Nespresso coffee machine with pods provided.
    • Utility room and garage on the lower ground floor with washing machine and dryer.

    • En-suite master bedroom on the second floor with super king size bed, wardrobe, dressing table/desk and chair, side tables and doors opening to a private balcony with sea views.
    • Master ensuite with walk in rainfall shower, basin, WC and heated towel rail.
    • Second bedroom on the second floor with king size zip & link bed, dressing table/ desk and chair, side table and garden view.
    • Second bedroom en-suite with walk in rainfall shower, basin, WC and heated towel rail.
    • Double bedroom on the ground floor with double bed, side tables and doors leading to the lower section of the garden, with a table and chairs.
    • Bunk bed room on the ground floor with chest of drawers and chair.
    • Family bathroom on the ground floor with large bath and powerful rainfall shower overhead, WC, basin and heated towel rail.

    Outside:

    • Private enclosed garden at the rear. Top level of garden with cosy corner sofa, pergola with fairy lights, coffee table and faux grass lawn, the perfect spot for a drink on a summers evening.
    • Middle level of garden with large outdoor dining table and benches, seating eight, a great spot for lunch outdoors with all of the family.
    • Lower level of garden accessible from the ground floor bedroom ,with a table and chairs.
    • Heated outdoor shower, perfect for rinsing sandy feet and wetsuits after a day on the beach.
    • Parking for two vehicles (please check the need to know).
    • There is ring door bell camera at this property which monitors the driveway and front door.
  • Need to Know
    • One well behaved dog allowed.
    • Please note that there is a seasonal dog ban between 10am and 6pm from 1 July to 31 August on Porth Beach. 
    • No smoking within the property.
    • Cautionary deposit of £250, due with full balance.
    • Permitted parking for 2 cars on the house driveway, one behind the other or alternatively one car can go in the garage. Please be aware the driveway is steep, vehicles will need to be secured by handbrake. The garage may be unsuitable for particularly low vehicles due to the incline. Any additional cars must be parked off site.
    • Please note that the dining area is located within close proximity of the stairwell, care should be taken to prevent a fall.

    • Newquay town centre and it's fabulous choice of beaches are a short walk in the opposite direction.
    • Trevelgue Head (also known as Porth Island).
