Where Is It?
Sennen Cove is at the far west of Cornwall, with a magical 'edge of the world' feel. This little village is a hotchpotch of sturdy granite cottages with an ancient, classically Cornish air although on a sunny day, the pale, almost white sand and the turquoise water gives the beach a distinctly Mediterranean flavour.
This gorgeous spot has been voted as one of Britain's best beaches by Conde Nast Traveller. If you're looking for a corner of Cornwall far from supermarkets, busy dual carriageways and the hectic pace of modern life, then Sennen Cove is where you'll find it. Here, it's all about relaxing with simple pleasures, pub lunches and a treat from the ice cream shop, cliff path walks along this most rugged of coastline and catching some of the endless waves on a surf or body board. Sennen Cove has lifeguard cover throughout the summer season.
St Ives is a short drive away, with the famous Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden, great shopping and lively cafe and restaurant culture.

The Property
- Cove Cottage, a traditional fisherman's cottage, has been beautifully restored to offer great modern comfort whilst retaining immense period character with slate floors and deep window seats, exposed stonework and a huge fireplace.
- This property is just paces from the harbour and the long, long stretch of sand of Sennen beach, yet is tucked away from the road and is blissfully peaceful.
- All of Sennen Cove's attractions, including pub, restaurant, cafes, gallery, ice cream shop, surf hire and lessons are within easy, level walking distance. Every room except the bathroom has a great view over the harbour and out to sea.
- Large entrance porch/boot room with washing machine and space for beach kit, coats, shoes etc.
- Open plan living area with wood burning stove, two sofas, TV and DVD player.
- Dining table with two chairs and a bench plus deep window seat.
- Kitchen area with granite worktops, oven, hob, extractor, microwave, fridge and dishwasher.
- Wi-Fi, travel cot and highchair, selection of books, games and DVDs, iron and ironing board are included.
- Electric heating throughout.

- Double bedroom with king size bed and harbour view.
- Twin bedroom with two full size single beds, television and harbour view.

- Large, beautifully finished family bathroom with vaulted ceiling, stand-alone roll-top bath, large shower enclosure, heated towel rail, basin and WC.
Outside:
- Pretty courtyard with lovely sea views and picnic bench at the front of the cottage.
- Elevated private rear garden with barbecue area, picnic bench and chiminea and with absolutely breath-taking views over the entire bay. Please note that the rear garden is accessed via steep steps and is not suitable for very young children or those with limited mobility.
- Parking is available at the nearby harbour car park.

- Cove Cottage has a steep internal staircase and relatively low ceilings; the steps to the rear garden are steep and uneven.
