Scarlet sunsets set the sky alight as you dine in the swanky beachfront eateries or sip a warming hot chocolate on the sand. Watergate's two miles of sand are popular with families, couples and dogs alongside surfers and thrill seekers.
Stride out on a long ramble or short jaunt along the coast path, with nearby walks to Newquay's seven bays or Mawgan Porth. Plunge into watersports lessons from Wavehunters, where you can try your hand at surfing, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding and kite surfing. The beach is exposed to incoming swell from the Atlantic, making it an excellent place for watersports.
